Saudi Arabia, China Discuss Issues of Mutual Interest

Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met on Tuesday with General Zhang Youxia, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China, under the direction of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.

According to Saudi media, the meeting discussed regional and international issues and matters of mutual interest.

Prince Khalid bin Salman said on his "X" platform account: "We affirmed the importance of our strategic relations, explored the prospects of our defense cooperation, and discussed regional and international issues, the efforts regarding them, and matters of mutual interest."

Earlier today, Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and his accompanying delegation arrived in the Chinese capital, Beijing, on an official visit as directed by the leadership.
