Two Saudi clubs are targeting Liverpool's star Mohamed Salah, and they have been in contact with the Egyptian star for a Saudi move, media outlets revealed on Thursday.

There is no doubt that Salah is a popular and iconic figure in the Arab world, so his move to the Saudi pro league would be another big win.

Rudy Galetti said that both Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal are attempting to sign Salah and they made contact with him.

The journalist added that Contacts are in progress and both clubs are trying to understand if there is a chance for negotiation.

Salah is still under a contract with the Reds until 2025 and it is possible that the winger would leave the Anfield.

Last March, The Egyptian king became the highest goalscorer for Liverpool in the Premier League with his two goals against Manchester United at Anfield.

He became the 2nd player to score in five successive Premier League appearances against the Red Devils, after Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (for Leeds & Chelsea, 1998-2001).

Salah is the first Liverpool player to score in six consecutive appearances in all competitions against Manchester United.

Mohamed Salah has now scored more Premier League goals against Manchester United than Thierry Henry (8) and Sergio Agüero (8).
