Brazilian club Santos has officially announced the renewal of captain Neymar da Silva’s contract through its verified account on X (formerly Twitter).
The club shared a video highlighting some of Neymar’s best goals and confirmed that the striker will remain with Santos until December 31, 2026.
The 33-year-old forward returned to his boyhood club last January and played a crucial role in helping the team remain in Brazil’s top division.
Despite dealing with physical pain, Neymar scored five goals in his last four matches, demonstrating his continued impact on the squad.
Following this period, Neymar underwent a successful arthroscopic knee surgery aimed at fully restoring his physical fitness, with the goal of returning to contention for a spot in the Brazilian national team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
