Oscar-nominated actress Salma Hayek never shies away from declaring her love for her husband François-Henri Pinault.

Hayek penned on Instagram a gushing tribute to him on the anniversary of the day they met, as they celebrate 14 years together.

“Today 14 years ago I met my soul mate. After the test of time and even the test of the quarantine I feel very blessed that I’ve found you, and the more I discover you the more my love grows. Happy anniversary Mi Amor. ” She rewrote the tribute in both French and Spanish.

In 2019, Hayek became the first Arab actress with a main role to be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), where she is set to star in Marvel’s movie “The Eternals”.

The marvel movie, directed by Chloé Zhao, is slated to be released on February 12, 2021.

The Mexican actress, whose character is originally a man in the comic, said in a statement that is she “kind of the leader” of the group and has a more motherly role.

She shared a heartfelt reaction to her casting on Instagram in both English and Spanish: “I’m so excited to join the Marvel family as Ajak, the mother of all Eternals. It used to be the father of all Eternals, but girls… this is OUR time!!!! Estoy muy emocionada de añadirme a la familia Marvel como Ajak la madre de todos los Eternos. Antes era el padre de todos los Eternos, pero chicas… ESTE es nuestro momento!!!!”

The actress is the second Mexicana superhero for Marvel (the first being Natalia Cordova-Buckley, who plays Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodtiguez in “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D”), but this isn’t the first gender-swapped role Marvel has announced.

It will be produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and is intended to be the twenty-fifth film in MCU.

The film is directed by Chloé Zhao, written by Matthew and Ryan Firpo.

It features an ensemble cast including Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, Don Lee, Gemma Chan, Barry Keoghan, and Kit Harington.

The Eternals are a fictional race of humanoids appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.
