Al Hilal revealed details of the injury sustained by their player Salem Al Dawsari following thorough medical examinations conducted over the past few hours.
In an official statement issued on Wednesday, the club confirmed that Al Dawsari is suffering from a hamstring injury.
Al Hilal added that the player will undergo a treatment and rehabilitation program expected to last between one week and ten days, depending on his response to treatment.
The 34-year-old has featured for Al Hilal in 15 matches across all competitions this season, scoring four goals and providing six assists in a total of 1,149 minutes of playing time.
Al Hilal are set to face Neom on Sunday evening in Round 16 of the Saudi Pro League (Roshn Saudi League), with Al Dawsari’s availability for the match still uncertain.
