Saudi football star Salem Al Dawsari, captain of Al-Hilal FC and a key player for the Saudi Arabia national football team, has been sidelined due to a knee injury, according to local reports.
The Saudi national team recently announced that Al Dawsari would miss the international camp, which included friendly matches against Egypt national football team and Serbia national football team, due to his injury.

He is expected to miss three domestic league matches for Al-Hilal, including games against Al-Taawoun FC, Al-Kholood Club, and Al-Khaleej Club in the Saudi Pro League (Roshen). His recovery period is estimated at around 14 days.
Al Dawsari is expected to return for Al-Hilal’s round of 16 clash against Al-Sadd SC in the AFC Champions League Elite, scheduled for mid-April.
The 34-year-old has been a pivotal figure for both club and country this season, appearing in 27 matches across domestic and continental competitions, scoring eight goals and providing 10 assists.
Al-Hilal recently reached the final of the King Cup after defeating Al-Ahli Saudi FC on penalties and currently sits second in the Saudi Pro League with 64 points from 26 matches, three points behind leaders Al-Nassr FC.
