Salah's Statue to be Carved by Madame Tussauds

Madame Tussauds has begun to carve a special statue of Liverpool's star Mohamed Salah.

Salah posted a video on his official Twitter page, captioning, " Tick Tock."

The footage displays Tussauds' official obtaining the measurement of the Egyptian star which will be used in the process of carving his statue.

“I am so excited to be working with the artists of Madame Tussauds on my first ever figure," the iconic Egyptian star said according to Liverpool Echo.

On his part, Madame Tussauds general manager Praised Mo Salah, saying that the 27-year-old Egyptian star became a "global star at the peak of his power."

“We’re kicking off 2020 with this announcement which is sure to be a crowd-pleaser for football lovers around the world," the manager said.

Since he joined Liverpool in 2017, the Egyptian star delivers a brilliant performance with the Reds.

He led Liverpool to claim the Uefa Champions League title in the last season after thrashing Tottenham with two unanswered goals in the final.

The 27-year-old Egyptian star also led the Reds to lift the Uefa Super Cup title after ending their 14-year wait for a Uefa Super Cup title by beating Chelsea on penalties 5-4.

The iconic Egyptian star also guided them to lift the Fifa Club World Cup title.
