Moments ago, popular former football player Ahmed Hossam "Mido" said that Liverpool's star Mohamed Salah, "The Egyptian King," will move to the Saudi Pro League this year.

Mido added that Salah has signed the contracts with his new club.

Last week, British media sources confirmed on that Salah has officially communicated his intention to leave Liverpool in the forthcoming summer. Reports from The Mirror suggest that the Egyptian football icon has made up his mind not to extend his stay at Anfield beyond the current season and has already pinpointed his future footballing destination.

Paddy Power, a former Liverpool defender, shared insights stating, "Mohamed Salah is set to leave Liverpool with absolute certainty this summer. Despite the outcomes of this season, it appears there was an arrangement made last summer regarding his future." Power elaborated on Salah's potential next move, indicating, "Salah is likely to join a league such as the Saudi League, where Liverpool anticipates a significant transfer fee in return. In Saudi Arabia, Salah would be celebrated immensely."

He further explained the dynamics of Salah's decision not to leave last summer, "Salah had the opportunity to demand a transfer last summer, to confront Jürgen Klopp and express his desire to move on, yet he chose not to. A deal was struck for him to remain for the current season, with a mutual understanding that he would be free to leave come summer."

With Salah's contract with Liverpool set to expire in the summer of 2025, the conclusion of this season marks a crucial juncture for Liverpool to potentially recover a substantial part of their investment in the prolific forward. This summer promises to be a pivotal moment in Salah's illustrious career as he prepares for the next chapter beyond Liverpool's iconic Anfield.
