British reports claimed on Sunday that Egyptian star Mohamed Salah will feature in Chelsea match ahead of joining national team.
According to "Mirror," Liverpool agreed with the Egyptian Football Association about Salah's participation in Sunday's Premier League clash against Chelsea, then travelling to Egypt to join national team.
Egypt will enter a closed camp in January as the Pharaohs gear up for the 2021 African Cup of Nations, set to take place in Cameroon from January 9 till February 6.
The seventh-time African champion will start their campaign in the tournament on January 11 against Nigeria, as both teams drawn in Group D, alongside Sudan and Guinea Bissau.
Liverpool will clash against Leicester City on Tuesday, before facing Chelsea on Sunday.
