Mohamed Salah led Liverpool to maintain their unbeaten start to the Premier League season after defeating Watford with two unanswered goals on Saturday.

Mo Salah had put his side ahead after a brilliant combination play between Firmino, Mane, and Salah, who toed a right-footed curler that drifted into the far corner in the 38th minute.

The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) canceled Mane's 50-minute goal because he was a millimeter offside.

Mane's canceled goal came when Shaqiri lifted fierce cross to Mane, who planted an emphatic flicked header at the near post, but the goal was disallowed.

Liverpool now move 11 points clear, attaining the Premier League leadership with 49 points, while  Watford  came in the last spot with nine points.

Jürgen Klopp, who renewed his contract with the Reds until 2024, made three changes in the line-up, who played Salzburg’s game, as Joe Gomez started instead of the injured defender Dejan Lovren, while James Milner came in for Andy Robertson. The other alteration is Xherdan Shaqiri, who started in place of Naby Keita.

Noteworthy, the Reds managed to qualify for the last 16 of the Uefa Champions League crushing Salzburg with two unanswered goals on Tuesday.

The iconic Egyptian star dazzled the whole world with his second goal against Salzburg  when he ran on to a pass by Henderson, took the ball away from the keeper and then clipped it into the net.
