Barcelona have reportedly told Mohamed Salah he can join them when his Liverpool contract expires next summer.

The Egyptian forward has a year remaining on his deal at Anfield and currently looks no closer to extending his five-year stay at the club.

Barcelona have recently been boosted by the £235million naming rights deal with Spotify and are looking to bolster their squad in order to compete for major honours once again.

According to the Mirror, Salah has been promised a free transfer move to the Nou Camp next summer.

The report claims Barcelona are a major factor as to why the 29-year-old is stalling on a new deal despite telling close friends a few months ago that he was ready to extend.

Liverpool will be in a difficult position come pre-season as they'll have to decide whether to cash in on Salah or risk losing him for nothing.

Jurgen Klopp's side also look set to lose Sadio Mane this summer after he confirmed his desire to leave Liverpool this week.

Barcelona boss Xavi is said to be confident of landing Bayern Munich superstar Robert Lewandoswki and has also spoken to Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves.
