Salah Claims Golden Foot Award

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah won on Monday the "Golden Foot" award in Monaco, alongside his family. Salah let his wife receive the award.

Mo was among 10 players nominated for the the Ballon d’Or award as he lost the award after a fierce competition with Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski.

Salah named in the 7th place in the Ballon d’Or award ahead of Haaland, Mbappe, De Bruyne.

Mohamed Salah took his game to a whole new level in 2021, despite not winning any trophies with Liverpool or Egypt in the past 12 months.

It was on the inpidual level where he excelled, scoring 32 goals for Liverpool throughout 2021 as he currently sits top of the Premier League’s top-scoring charts.

Not only that, the Egyptian has been Liverpool’s top assister and guided his country to the 2022 AFCON and the final round of the World Cup qualifiers.
