Liverpool's star Mohamed Salah has become the first Egyptian player to win the UEFA Champions League after the Reds managed to beat Spurs (2-0).
The iconic Egyptian player gave Liverpool the lead after he managed to score a penalty in the second minute of the game.
Salah has become the third Arab player to win this tournament. He expressed his happiness after the match. " I have no words to describe such a glorious moment, but I am very happy with this momentous triumph," Salah said.
“Since I was seven years old, my dream was to win the Champions League," he added.

“I will be very happy if I manage to achieve the title again. If I do so I will be the first Arab to win the Champions League twice," the 26-year-old winger said.
It was their first Champions League final since 2005 after Liverpool managed to overturn their 3-0 deficit in the first half to a 3-3 draw, then they lifted the cup after securing their victory in a dramatic penalty shootout (3-2).
It is worth mentioning that, the Reds qualified for the final after their memorable comeback. Liverpool beat Barcelona in the semi-final after they managed to overthrow their 3-0 deficit to unanswered four-goal at Anfield stadium.
