Safaga port received on Wednesday the first cruise ship, which sailed last month from the Saudi port of Jeddah, passing through Jordan to arrive in Egypt.
The Governor of the Red Sea governorate praised the inauguration of the first cruise line with Saudi Arabia, noting that it would support the two countries' ambitions to increase tourism revenues.
Major General Amr Hanafi, Governor of the Red Sea, stated that the ship arrived yesterday at 6:00 AM at Safaga port, with 700 Saudi passengers on board.
he added that next Friday, another Saudi group of tourists will be received in the Porto Ghalib Resort in Marsa Alam.
