African Football star Sadio Mane was announced, on Friday, in Senegal's National Football Team squad for the FIFA World Cup - Qatar 2022.

The name of the current Byren Munich star was included in the official squad of the African team by Coach Aliou Cisse, despite the news of the injury.

Cisse explained that he hopes that Mane's condition of Mane would improve in a few weeks, asserting that he is "very optimistic" as the injury does not require surgery.

Mane's participation in the world cup group stage with his country's national team was heavily discussed in the past few days due to the injury.

The 30-year-old star was diagnosed with an injury to his right fibula and will conduct a further examination.

"Sadio Mane is an important player in our squad, it is important to continue to follow his injury, hoping that in two or three weeks there will be progress. But we are really optimistic," the Singalese Coach told reporters.

He added: "We will give ourselves all the necessary means to allow Sadio Mane to recover."
