Belarusian Tennis player Aryna Sabalenka defeated the Tunisian Ons Jabeur in an exhibition match under the theme of Riyadh Season Tennis Cup, on Tuesday. Sabalenka defeated Jabeur 4-6, 6-3, and 6-4 score.
The exhibition tournament started on Tuesday with the women's exhibition match, while tonight, the biggest rivalry of 2023 will return to Riyadh as No.1 Novak Djokovic will face World No.2 Carlos Alcaraz.
Sabalenka will kick off the new season in a few days at the Brisbane International Open. On the other hand, Jabeur is the only top 50 player who will participate in the Australian competitions without prior matches. She will be in Melbourne in January preparing for the tournament.

The 2023 Australian Open champion faced Jabeur 6 times which ended 4 victories for the Belarusian and two for the Tunisian. They faced each other twice this year. First, the Tunisian exhibited her talents on grass and defeated Sabalenka in the Wimbledon semifinals by 6-8, 7-4, 6-3 to advance to her third Grand Slam final and second at Wimbledon, but she was disappointed by the Czech Marketa Vondrousova.
The second contest between them in 2023 was in the quarterfinals of the Cincinnati Open, this time Sabalenka had a 7-5, 6-2 victory but lost in the semifinals to Karolina Muchova.
Sabalenka ended the year as the world No. 2 after losing in the WTA Finals semifinals to Iga Swiatek who restored her place as world No.1.
