Russian Embassy: Avenue of Sphinxes Re-opening Ceremony Befitting Egyptian civilization

The Russian Embassy in Egypt highlighted a ceremony to mark the inauguration of the 3,000-year-old ancient walkway of the Avenue of Sphinxes in Luxor. in which President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and a number of foreign ambassadors participated.

The Russian embassy said, in a post on its accounts on social media, that Ambassador Georgy Borisenko participated with the ambassadors of other countries in the ceremony attended by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to open the 3,000-year-old ancient walkway of the Avenue of Sphinxes in Luxor. It described the scene as amazing and befitting the great Egyptian civilization.

The embassy added that the historical monuments in Luxor, are carefully preserved by the country's leadership and people, and attract more foreign tourists, stressing that the relationship of Egyptian-Russian friendship has become stronger .
