Russian Ambassador to Cairo, Georgy Borisenko, praised the "Egyptian-Russian" relations, stating that these relations have gained new and strong momentum throughout history and have become more distinguished, especially during the era of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Cairo and Moscow celebrated last year the 80th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between them.
In TV remarks, Borisenko added that Egyptian-Russian relations have witnessed significant rapprochement in recent years, with major agreements such as the Strategic and Political Partnership agreement signed by the Egyptian and Russian presidents.
Moreover, Russian ambassador considered this agreement to be a partnership and a boost for further progress in relations between the two countries, noting that cooperation will remain strong between Moscow and Cairo in all fields, especially since the two countries' views are compatible and converge on many regional and international issues.
