Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated that no date has been set yet for a new round of Russian-American talks.
According to Russia Today on Sunday, Zakharova noted that two rounds of consultations have already taken place regarding the causes of tensions in Russian-American relations.
A third round had been planned, but "the American side postponed it."
"Naturally, not all desired results were achieved, because during the administrations of Biden and Obama, much was destroyed. Therefore, the results so far are preliminary and temporary. Some problems could have been resolved, but much work still remains," she added.
Zakharova further stated, "There is currently no specific date for the consultations, but I can say that there is ongoing dialogue between the Russian Embassy in Washington and the U.S. State Department, and communications are also continuing here in Moscow."
