Russia announced on Saturday the registration of its 3rd anti-coronavirus vaccine 'CoviVac'.
In a statement, the Russian health minister Mikhail Murashko said that clinical trials of the "CoviVac" vaccine have proven its efficacy and safety against Coronavirus.
On its part, the Federal Scientific Center for Research and Development of Immune and Biological Products said that trials of the "CoviVac" vaccine on children and the elderly are scheduled to start next April.
It is worth mentioning that, Russia registered the world's first anti-coronavirus vaccine on August 11 last year.
