Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Monday that Russian Foreign Minister (FM) Sergei Lavrov and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi will hold a meeting in Beijing to discuss important issues.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry said that Lavrov arrived in the Chinese capital on Monday for a visit that will continue until tomorrow, Tuesday.
It added that Lavrov is scheduled to hold an in-depth exchange of views on a number of current and regional issues, including the Ukrainian crisis and the situation in the Asia-Pacific region.
