Egypt will host the Russian Robotics and Innovative Technologies Week from 16 to 23 November, organized by Stavropol State Agrarian University in cooperation with the Russian House cultural centers and supported by the Federal Agency for International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo).
The initiative will introduce participants to cutting-edge trends in robotics and virtual reality technologies. The program includes an exhibition and a series of masterclasses led by leading Russian experts and innovators in educational technology.
Events will be held in partnership with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport across three Egyptian cities, Cairo, Alexandria, and Aswan. Sessions will take place in Cairo from 16 to 18 November at the academy’s Smart Village campus, in Alexandria from 19 to 20 November at the Abu Qir campus, and in Aswan on 22 and 23 November.

Vadim Zaitchikov, Director of Russian Cultural centers in Egypt, said the event would serve as a platform for experience exchange between the two countries and inspire future cooperation among schoolchildren and university students.
He noted that robotics and virtual reality are no longer confined to science fiction but have become core drivers of technological advancement.
Zaitchikov added that all event venues will align with modern trends in immersive learning technologies, targeting school students, university students, teachers, and educational institutions. He confirmed that this will be the first in a series of initiatives aimed at promoting scientific culture among young learners in Egypt.
