According to the TASS news agency, Russia has requested a meeting of the United Nations Security Council to discuss Western arms supplies to Ukraine.
A source within the organization was quoted by the agency as saying, "Russia has requested a meeting of the Security Council on January 22 to discuss Western arms supplies to Ukraine."
Western countries had previously requested a Security Council meeting on January 10 to discuss alleged arms supplies from North Korea to Russia.
Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, has repeatedly stated that Western allegations of military cooperation between Russia and North Korea are baseless and untrue.
