Ruby Announces New Song “3 Saat Mutawasila”

Egyptian singer-actress Ruby announced Thursday on Instagram her latest song “3 Saat Mutawasila”.

It is written and composed by Aziz El-Shafei and is set to debut soon on YouTube.

On the other hand, Ruby is set to participate in the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon with the TV series "Shoghl Fanadek".

The cast also includes Amr Youssef, Ahmed Malek, Edward, Mohammed Radwan, and more.

Mohamed Sami is directing the series from a script he co-wrote alongside Mohab Tarek.

The series, produced by Media Hub, marks the first collaboration between Ruby and Youssef.

The duo participated respectively in the last Ramadan drama marathon, Ruby with the TV series "Hadret El Omda" and Youssef with "The 101 Battalion". 

Rania Hussein Mohammed Tawfik, known as Ruby, rose to fame with her debut single “Enta Aref Leih” (Do You Know Why?) in 2003, which was directed by Sherif Sabri.

The music video for “Enta Aref Leih” was a hit on most satellite music channels in the Middle East during that summer.

In 2000, Ruby made her acting debut in the Egyptian film “Film Saqafi” (Cultural Film).

She is best known for her roles in TV productions such as “Shaqah 6” (2021), “Aho Da Elly Saar” (2019), “Ramadan Kareem” (2017), “Segn El-Nisaa” (2014), and “Bedoun Zikr Asma” (2013).

Her notable film credits include “Barra El Manhag” (2021), “Hamlet Pharaon” (2019), “El-Kenz: Al-Haqiqa wa Al-Khayaal” (2017), and “Yom Malosh Lazma” (2015), “El Haramy wel Abeet” (2013), “Al Hafla” (2013), “Al-Wa’ad” (2008), and “Skoot Hansawar” (2001).
