Ronaldo on Al Nassr Move: 'I'm coming here to win, to play, to enjoy'

A few moments ago, the historical unveiling event of Riyadh-based Al Nassr FC for the most shocking transfer signing, Cristiano Ronaldo, kicked off. 

The unveiling event is taking place at Mrsool Park in Riyadh, the stadium reached its capacity of 30,000 people. 

Ronaldo arrived at the location of the event in a suit and he warmly interacted with the fans who waited in the streets.

Next, he was hosted at a conference hall for a short press conference. 

He initiated: "So far feeling very good, I'm so proud to make this big decision in my life." Then, he expressed the feelings of his family ahead of the signing: "When I take my decisions, my family always support me, especially my kids."

He added: "My work in Europe is done. I played at the best clubs in the world & I won everything. I’m happy, and proud to join Al Nassr”.

After that, Ronaldo revealed that he had different offers from Portugal and US, but he decided to turn them down for Al-Nassr deal.

"I want to give a different vision of the country and the football," he explained. 

He added: "If you give the example of the World Cup, the only team that beat the champions [Argentina] is Saudi Arabia."

He also highlighted that he wants people to see this step as a new challenge for him. 

Ronaldo concluded: "I'm coming here to win, to play, to enjoy."
