Football star Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain and all-time top scorer of the Portuguese national team, celebrated his return to representing his country in the UEFA Nations League quarterfinals during the March international break.
The Portuguese national team are getting ready to face Denmark in a two-legged tie, scheduled for March 20 and 23, as part of the quarterfinals of the continental tournament.
Ronaldo posted a photo on his X account upon his arrival in Portugal, captioning it: "It's good to be back."

The first leg of the quarterfinals is set for March 20, followed by the second leg on March 23.
The semifinals will take place on June 4 and 5, with the final scheduled for June 8.
If Portugal advance, they will face the winner of the Italy vs. Germany matchup in the semifinals, setting the stage for a highly competitive battle for the continental title.
