Head coach Roberto Martínez has announced the squad of the Portugal national football team for the March training camp, as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Portugal is set to face the Mexico national football team on March 28 at Azteca Panorte Stadium, before concluding the international window against the United States national football team on March 31 in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The most notable absence from the squad is veteran forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been ruled out due to a recent injury.
Portugal has been drawn into a competitive World Cup group alongside the Colombia national football team, the Uzbekistan national football team, and the winner of the intercontinental playoff, which includes the DR Congo national football team, the New Caledonia national football team, and the Jamaica national football team.
The upcoming friendlies are expected to provide crucial preparation as Portugal fine-tunes its squad ahead of the global tournament.
