Renowned journalist and transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano denied reports of any negotiations between Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior, who plays for Real Madrid, and English club Chelsea.
Romano confirmed that Chelsea has not contacted Vinicius and has not made any offers recently, emphasizing that the Brazilian player is fully focused on his current team, Real Madrid.
Earlier, the Spanish program Chiringuito claimed that Chelsea was preparing a €150 million offer to sign Vinicius in the near future.
The English club’s interest in the winger is reportedly part of its ongoing squad restructuring plans, but no talks or negotiations have taken place.
This season, Vinicius has appeared in 25 matches across all competitions for Real Madrid, totaling 1859 minutes, scoring five goals and providing eight assists.
Real Madrid is preparing to face Atlético Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final in Saudi Arabia, as the club aims to add another trophy to its collection.
