Ring of Honor delivered one of its most action-packed events of the year at Final Battle, held live from GalaxyCon in Columbus.
The night featured major title changes, intense grudge matches, and standout performances from ROH and AEW talent.
In one of the biggest shocks of the night, Red Velvet defeated Mercedes Moné to recapture the ROH Women’s World TV Championship, ending Moné’s run as “13 Belts Moné.”
The win marks a significant career milestone for Velvet as she reclaimed the title in a hard-fought rematch.
Meanwhile, both ROH World Champions held onto their gold.
– Bandido survived a chaotic six-man Survival of the Fittest match, outlasting Blake Christian, Hechicero, Komander, Sammy Guevara and The Beast Mortos to remain ROH World Champion.
Athena continued her dominant reign, defeating Persephone to retain the ROH Women’s World Championship after a brutal, back-and-forth main event.
The show also featured a dramatic 30-Minute Iron Man Match, where ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty defeated Nigel McGuinness 5–4 in sudden death, following an initial draw.
The match was widely praised for its technical excellence and emotional storytelling, capped with McGuinness symbolically placing his old ROH Pure title onto Moriarty’s shoulder.
Three championships changed hands throughout the night: Red Velvet became the new ROH Women’s World TV Champion, Sammy Guevara & The Beast Mortos of LFI captured the ROH World Tag Team Championship, assisted by interference from Hechicero, and Deonna Purrazzo won the inaugural ROH Women’s Pure Championship, submitting Billie Starkz with the Venus de Milo.
Other highlights included: Jon Moxley calling out Konosuke Takeshita ahead of their Continental Classic clash, declaring he’s ready to face the Don Callis Family head-on.
Furthermore, Shane Taylor Promotions retaining the ROH World Six-Man Tag Titles against SkyFlight.
Ricochet successfully defending the AEW National Championship against Dalton Castle in a highly athletic contest.
Eddie Kingston earning a gritty victory over Josh Woods ahead of his AEW World Title match with Samoa Joe.
