ROH Establishes Women's Pure Title, Inaugural Champion to Be Crowned in May

On Sunday, AEW and ROH President Tony Khan made a surprising announcement before the tapings of ROH episodes.

Khan unveiled the new ROH Women’s Pure Championship. The first-ever champion will be crowned at the ROH Supercard of Honor pay-per-view, which takes place at the Adrian Phillips Theater at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ, on Friday, May 2.

It is not the first time for Khan to establish another championship for ROH Women, as he added the ROH Women's World Television Championship in December 2023.

The inaugural champion of the World Television title was the promising Billie Starkz, who won the tournament to crown the first-ever champion.
