Hamdy Rizk, a famous media figure, stressed on Sunday that participating in the parliamentary elections is a national duty, pointing out that the citizen's responsibility is to choose the appropriate member of the House of Representatives.
Rizk directed his speech to the citizen, during a special coverage to follow up on the electoral process on Sada El-Balad satellite TV channel, that "Your voice says: I am here, I am the citizen... I am a great master.”
He added that the reason for the low turnout in some polling stations is a result of holding the voting over a period of two days.
The famous media figure pointed out that the voter casts his vote in parliamentary elections only once every five years to the House of Representatives, noting that "You don't say we're bored.”
