Pop Singer Robyn Fenty, known as Rihanna, is officially now a billionaire, making her the wealthiest female musician and the second-richest woman in entertainment behind Oprah Winfrey.

It has been five years since the pop star dropped a new album. Instead, she devoted her time building her business empire through her "Fenty Beauty" makeup line and her "Savage x Fenty" lingerie line.

Women's fashion and beauty brands have often unrealistic standards of beauty, however, one of the keys to Fenty Beauty's success has been creating products for women of all shapes, sizes, and skin shades.

Forbes reported the bulk of the pop star’s monumental fortune comes from Fenty Beauty, which she owns 50% and is worth $2.8 billion.

In 2018, the makeup brand generated over $550 million in annual revenues, earning more than Kim Kardashian West's KKW Beauty, Kylie Jenner's Kylie Cosmetics, and Jessica Alba's Honest Company.

A large portion of her wealth also comes from Savage X Fenty, which she owns 30% and is worth an estimated $270 million. LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault and rapper Jay Z are also principal investors in the brand.
