Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, the Higher Education and Scientific Research minister, announced the registration of the National Research Center for four types of new vaccines against Covid 19, that have not yet entered into clinical trials in humans.

Dr. Abdel Ghaffar explained that the four vaccines are among 132 vaccines under development, according to the World Health Organization on its official website: https://www.who.int/publications/m/item/draft-landscape-of-covid-19-candidate-vaccines

Dr. Abdel Ghaffar noted that the research team at the National Research Center has completed pre-clinical trials for the 2nd type of vaccine, and a file is being prepared for presentation to the Medical Research Ethics Committee to obtain its approval for clinical trials stage.

In addition, the committee is preparing its operation with a GMP specification for use in clinical trials, where the remaining forms of vaccines (1,3,4) are being pursued in terms of the resulting antibodies concentration in experimental animals.

Noteworthy, the four vaccines include an inhibitor vaccine for ''H1N1'' virus, which contains induced pieces of ''Covid 19'' after its multiplication on tissue culture.

The 3rd vaccine is a DNA that contains 4 parts of the DNA of the ''Covid 19'', representing the surface virus proteins and the 4th vaccine is the surface virus proteins which stimulates the immune system to produce antibodies to the virus in 4 forms.
