Reports: Xavi Dismisses Ittihad Jeddah Offer

Spanish reports indicate that former Barcelona coach Xavi Hernández is not considering Ittihad Jeddah's offer at this stage, despite speculation linking him with the Saudi club.

According to Marca, Xavi, who has been free since May 2024, remains calm under the current pressure and is instead focused on studying the market and preparing for a medium- to long-term project, rather than accepting quick offers driven by financial incentives.

The 44-year-old coach is currently spending time with his family, using this period to rest and carefully consider the next step in his career.

Moreover, transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano expressed that Xavi is studying Premier League and he could consider a move to Manchester United.

Meanwhile, Al Ittihad’s management has already begun searching for a new head coach, with former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp reportedly at the top of their shortlist. 

This comes after the dismissal of Laurent Blanc, following a string of disappointing results. 

The club has opened talks with several high-profile names in world football as part of its push for stability.

Al Ittihad’s urgency to resolve the coaching situation intensified after their recent 2–0 defeat to Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League. 

The board aims to finalize the appointment swiftly to secure technical stability ahead of upcoming domestic and continental challenges.
