The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported Thursday that Sergio Ramos, defender of Paris Saint-Germain, had received a huge offer from the Saudi club Al-Hilal to join the club this summer.

Ramos, 37, contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires at the end of the current season.

"Mundo Deportivo" confirmed, in a report, that the Saudi club Al-Hilal made an offer to Ramos worth 30 million euros per season, more than what he gets with Paris for two full seasons.

The Spanish newspaper indicated that the Saudi club is ready to raise the amount to 50 million euros annually, to reach 4 times its current salary, as part of Saudi Arabia's efforts to attract big stars and give football more spotlight, hoping to host the 2030 World Cup.

The newspaper stated in its report that the management of the Parisian club has not yet made any offer to the former Real Madrid defender to renew his contract, noting that the French club has warned regarding negotiation steps due to the rules of fair financial play that will oblige the club with some restrictions starting next summer.

It is noteworthy that Sergio Ramos moved to the ranks of Paris Saint-Germain, in the summer of 2021, in a free transfer deal, after the expiration of his contract with his former club, Real Madrid.
