Portuguese newspaper Record has revealed growing dissatisfaction on the part of Cristiano Ronaldo, amid frustration over Al Nassr’s limited activity during the winter transfer window.
According to the report, the Portuguese star is unhappy with the club’s transfer policy, particularly the failure to secure high-profile signings capable of strengthening the squad and boosting its competitiveness across domestic and continental competitions.
As a result, Ronaldo is reportedly considering leaving Al Nassr in the near future.
The newspaper added that Ronaldo currently has offers from European and American clubs, especially given the presence of a €50 million release clause in his contract.
Record also indicated that Ronaldo’s absence from Al Nassr’s recent match against Al Riyadh was linked to his frustration with the club’s management.
The report suggested that the coming hours could be decisive, with the player expected to make a clear decision regarding his future and career path with the club.
Despite Ronaldo’s absence, Al Nassr managed to secure a 1–0 victory over Al Riyadh, with the winning goal scored by Sadio Mané following a well-timed assist from João Félix.
During the recently closed winter transfer window, which officially ended on Monday in Saudi Arabia, Al Nassr completed only two signings: Haider Abdul Karim from Iraqi side Al-Zawraa, and Abdullah Al-Hamdan from Al Hilal, moves that appear to have fallen short of the expectations of the club’s star forward.
