On Wednesday, the German newspaper Bild revealed details of Manchester City's official offer to Eintracht Frankfurt to capture the services of the Egyptian trending forward Omar Marmoush during the current winter transfer window.
The newspaper added that Manchester City made a formal offer worth €70 million to sign the player, before Eintracht Frankfurt's management declined it.
Eintracht Frankfurt seek to receive €80 million.
In the same context, transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano announced on his official X account, on Tuesday, that Manchester City submitted an official offer to the Bundesliga side for the Egyptian international during the current winter transfer window.
Romano stated, "The offer made by Manchester City is below Eintracht Frankfurt's expectations and ambitions, but negotiations are ongoing, and there is optimism."
Meanwhile, English reports indicated that both Liverpool and Arsenal are closely monitoring the ongoing negotiations between Premier League champions Manchester City and Eintracht Frankfurt for the potential transfer of Omar Marmoush.
