On Wednesday, Saudi newspaper Al Sharq Al Awsat, citing exclusive sources, reported that Al Zamalek's star Ahmed Sayed Zizo didn't receive official proposals from Saudi clubs.
The reports asserted that neither Zizo nor Al Zamalek received any official offers or proposals regarding a potential transfer of Zizo to the Saudi league.
They revealed that all circulating reports are just signs of interest that have not yet reached the stage of serious or official negotiations from Saudi clubs with the Egyptian team or player.
Zizo has been linked with a move to Saudi Pro League sides such as Al-Fateh and Al-Ettifaq, and Neom.
Meanwhile, Zamalek officials are intensifying efforts to resign Zizo.
