Manchester City have reportedly set an €80 million asking price for midfielder Rodri as Real Madrid continue to monitor the Spain international during the summer transfer window.
According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, the 30-year-old has already agreed in principle to join Real Madrid on a four-year contract running until 2030. However, formal negotiations between the two clubs have not yet begun.
City are also hoping to extend Rodri's current contract, which expires in 2027, but the midfielder has yet to sign a new deal and is reportedly keen on returning to Spain.
The report adds that Real Madrid value Rodri at between €50 million and €60 million, leaving a significant gap between the two clubs' valuations as talks over a potential transfer are yet to get underway.
