English football player Jordan Henderson, the star of the KSA's Al Ettifaq, is reportedly on his way to Ajax after agreeing to terminate his contract with the Saudi club Al Ettifaq.
The 33-year-old midfielder joined the Saudi Pro League club from Liverpool last summer.
He made 17 appearances during his short run in the Saudi Pro League.
Several reports, including The Athletic, claimed that Henderson returned to the UK while attempting to secure the deal with the Dutch club.Ajax started to recover from a bad start to the season since appointing John van 't Schip as the team's coach. They are now standing number 5 in the Eredivisie.
