On Friday, media reports revealed that iconic coach Pep Guardiola will likely sign a new contract with Manchester City to stay at the club until 2026.
Guardiola led Man City to win 18 titles including 6 premier league titles, and a UEFA Champions League title.
According to The Athletic's David Ornstein, Guardiola could extend his contract with Man City for a further year.
Speaking last week, Guardiola said that City have put him under no pressure to decide his future.
He said: "I want to be really, really convinced that it's the best for the club,' said Guardiola. 'I will not delay an action knowing that I am creating a problem for the club.
If I feel there is a problem right now, I will take a decision as quickly as possible. But I don't have that feeling because they understand the reasons that I have."
