Reports: Ademola Lookman Future Uncertain as Inter Delay New Bid

Inter Milan have yet to return with a new bid for Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman, despite weeks of negotiations and speculation surrounding the Nigerian international’s future.

According to reports from SportMediaset via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri have decided to step back from the deal as they shift their attention to strengthening other areas of the squad.

Inter’s interest in Lookman has dominated Serie A headlines this summer, with the saga turning into one of the most talked-about stories of the transfer window. 

The club had already submitted two offers—an initial €40 million bid, followed by an improved €45 million package including add-ons.

Lookman, meanwhile, has made his stance clear. The 27-year-old has openly requested a transfer and has been absent from Atalanta training sessions since the start of August in an effort to push for the move.

However, Inter’s current priorities lie elsewhere. The Nerazzurri are understood to be focusing on signing a midfielder and a defender before considering whether to raise their bid for Lookman. 

For now, the pursuit of the Atalanta star remains on hold, leaving his future uncertain as the transfer window edges closer to its conclusion.
