Diplomatic efforts are underway to contain escalating tensions in the Middle East following a reported attack on a Kuwaiti military facility.
Saudi Arabia condemned the incident, attributing it to Iranian aggression and describing it as an unjustified escalation. The attack reportedly resulted in the death of a worker at an electricity facility linked to the site.
In response, regional and international stakeholders are increasing diplomatic engagement to prevent further deterioration. A high-level meeting involving foreign ministers from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, along with Jordan and Russia, is being discussed as part of de-escalation efforts.
Russia is being considered as a potential mediator, given its balanced relations with both Iran and Gulf states, raising hopes for renewed dialogue aimed at easing tensions.
