The Red Sea Mountain Trail, located near Hurghada, is the first hiking trail with a distance of 220 kilometers.

Meanwhile, Tourism Minister Dr. Rania Al Mashat said that Egypt's persity and uniqueness now top the headlines of international newspapers and magazines.

Hikers are accompanied by Bedouin cameleers who provide traditional food and insight into their culture.

The trail, opened in 2015, is a socio-tourism project which aims to maintain the Red Sea environment and support its residents by offering jobs to them related to their activities and industries.
