On Monday, Brahim Diaz, Real Madrid star, joined the Moroccan National team camp for the upcoming Africa's FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Zambia and Congo on June 7, and 11.
Last March, Real Madrid star Brahim Diaz made his first appearance with the Moroccan First National Football team.
Real Madrid midfielder Brahim Diaz decided to represent Morocco instead of Spain.
Diaz represented Spain only once, scoring during a 4-0 friendly win over Lithuania in 2021.
Diaz was born in Malaga but he is eligible to represent Morocco through his father.
Morocco spent five years to convince Diaz to play for them. The Moroccan FA president, Fouzi Lekjaa, and politicians from the country visited Diaz, in addition to the coach of the team to convince the 24-year-old player to play for Morocco.
