Real Madrid have officially announced a one-year contract extension for defender Antonio Rudiger, keeping the German international at the club until the summer of 2027.
The decision secures the future of one of the team's most experienced defenders as the Spanish giants continue preparations for the upcoming season under head coach Jose Mourinho.
The 33-year-old centre-back remains a key figure in Madrid's defensive plans, particularly following David Alaba's departure and Eder Militao's long-term injury.
Rudiger, who is currently representing Germany at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, is expected to play a leading role in the club's backline next season.
Real Madrid are also reportedly close to signing Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate on a free transfer, setting up strong competition in defence alongside Raul Asencio and Dean Huijsen.
