On Wednesday, Real Madrid confirmed that their star Kylian Mbappe suffered a hamstring injury during Tuesday’s match against Alaves.
The statement said that tests showed that Mbappé has been diagnosed with a hamstring injury in his left leg. Awaiting further evaluation.
Mbappe will miss three weeks of action due to this injury and he will participate in Madrid Derby against Atletico de Madrid next Sunday.
Last week, Mbappe scored his first Champions League goal for Real Madrid.
The title holders kicked off their title defence campaign yesterday by a 3-1 victory over Stuttgart on Tuesday.
