RB Leipzig are aiming to generate €113 million through player sales this summer as the Bundesliga club looks to trim its oversized squad and create room for new signings.

According to BILD, Leipzig currently have 35 first-team players under contract and are relying on outgoing transfers before becoming active in the market. The club's internal financial plan reportedly targets €113 million in sales during the transfer window.

New head coach Martín Demichelis has been evaluating his squad since arriving and says every player will have an opportunity to prove themselves before final decisions are made.

"I give each player four or five weeks to show what he can do. We still need time to assess whether a player stays or leaves," Demichelis told BILD.

Among the players facing uncertain futures are summer signings Conrad Harder and Johan Bakayoko. While Demichelis is reportedly keen to keep Bakayoko, Harder has already been offered to other clubs.

Leipzig are also willing to listen to offers for defenders El Chadaille Bitshiabu and Castello Lukeba, who now face increased competition following the arrival of Maxime Estéve.

Experienced players Lukas Klostermann, Eljif Elmas, Lutsharel Geertruida and Arthur Vermeeren are also considered available for transfer as the club reshapes its squad ahead of the new season.

Meanwhile, several promising youngsters, including Ezechiel Banzuzi, Andrija Maksimovic and Viggo Gebel, have been told they must impress Demichelis during pre-season if they hope to secure a place in Leipzig's plans for the 2026-27 campaign.
