Ramez Galal Strikes Again with New Prank on Mohamed Hendy [Video]

Egyptian actor and notorious prankster, Ramez Galal has struck once again with a new prank on Egyptian comedian-actor Mohamed Hendy.

Henedy posted a video of the prank on "Facebook", which showed the former entering a room, while Galal hiding, in order to scare him by using a cat-like screech.

The comedian-actor captioned the video: "Ramez Jalal, while he was waiting for me yesterday in the office, and I wondered why he had arrived early."

Henedy presented recently his play “Talat Ayam Fi El Sahel” (3 days in the coast) in Saudi Arabia, as part of the Riyadh season activities.

Talat Ayam Fi El Sahel co-starring Mohamed Henedy, Bayoumi Fouad, Nada Moussa, Maha Abou Ouf, Mohamed Tharwat, and others.

The play is written by Ahmad Abdalla, and directed by Magdy El Hawary.

Talat Ayam Fi El Sahel witnessed Henedy’s comeback to the private theatre after 16 years of absence.

Mohamed co-starred in a number of theatrical comedies plays on the private sector theatre stage with a large number of his generation, such as Ahmed El Sakka, Hany Ramzy, Sherif Mounir, Mona Zaki, Ghada Adel, and Yasmine Abdelaziz.

Henedy’s last theatrical comedy play was 2001’s play “Alabhanda”.

Alabhanda also co-starred Alaa Wali El Din, Adel Borham, Ahmed El Sakka, Magda Zaki, Hany Ramzy, Dina, Sherif Mounir, Mona Abd El Ghani, Ahmed Akl, Ahmed Eid, Fathy Saad, Fatima Koshari, and others.

The play is written by Ahmed Abdullah, and directed by Samir Al Asfory, and Mohamed Fadel.

Henedy will resume filming his new film "King Size" after he returns to Cairo.

The film shooting was postponed due to the actor's being busy with his new play. Henedy will hold working sessions to select the rest of the cast and set the date for the shooting.

Henedy born on February 1, 1965 in Giza. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the Cinema Institute in 1991.

He began his career acting in the play “Doctor Za’attar” and in the television series “A’la Asl Dawar,” “Al A’rdahalgy” and “Al Bakheel wa Ana”.

Around the time Henedy made his cinema debut, he had performed in some of his best-known plays such as “ALabanda,” “Hazimny Ya” and “Al Mahzala Al Ardiyah.”

Moreover, Henedy succeeded in demonstrating his comedic talent through a minor role in “Bakheet wa A’deela.”

He achieved a high degree of success in the film titles “Isma’iliyah Rayeh Gayy” and “Sa’eedy fee Al Gam’a Al Amrikiyah.”

Thus, Henedy was able to redefine the landscape of Egyptian cinema towards the end of the ‘90s.

Soon afterward, Henedy was recognized as a major star with high grossing films.
