We are only a few days away from the holy month of Ramadan, and there’s no doubt that Ramadan this year will be different due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Fortunately, fashion designer Amira Shoaa was lucky to finish the shoot for her Caftan collection on March 14th just one day before the curfew activation.

The Arabic Caftan still represents an inspiration to fashion designers nowadays. Thus, the young designer, Shoaa designed a special collection of caftans while adding some modern and stylish details as a part of her “Ghagareia.” Designs.

• The materials.

The designer was looking for soft and delicate materials that also give a stylish and elegant look. Thus, she used different materials to give each caftan its own story and look. Shoaa used a mixture of chiffon and lace with cotton and some new silk derivative, a material named CY mixed with cotton.

•  Summer colors.

There’s no doubt that black is a loved color between women and girls but there’s also no doubt that colors play an important role in showing the design and its details. The designer mixed between the summer colors: yellow, green and fuchsia and black. She also used gold and silver to give new fashionable caftans.

• Additional Accessories.

Shoaa added some knitted and crocheted pieces to her designs as well as adding some blue byte and ganga to mix between the soiree and casual looks. Her caftans can be found in different styles to suit both Hijabis and non-hijabis. That is what makes them so unique and special.
